Adelaide is the capital city and is known as 'the city of churches'. Kangaroo Island, the world famous wine region of the Barossa Valley and the awsome Flinders Ranges all combine to make this state diverse. It is a gateway to the journey into the centre of Australia and also to the West with the Nullabor Plain heading off East.
